Font License

Last updated: 27 October 2026

Every font you download from TMFonts comes with a licence file in the download (usually named license.txt, EULA or similar). That licence sets out exactly what you may do with the font, and it is the licence that applies to your use. Please read it before using a font, especially for commercial work.

What every licence on TMFonts has in common

  • Keep the files to yourself. Do not share, upload, sell, give away or otherwise redistribute font files, including inside templates, apps or design files that others can extract the font from.
  • Don’t modify and resell. You may not alter a font and sell or distribute it as a new font.
  • One licence, one licensee. A purchase is for the person or business that bought it, unless the included licence says otherwise.

Commercial use, web and app embedding

Whether a font may be used for commercial projects, embedded on a website, in an app or e-book, or used in a logo depends on the included licence for that font. If a licence does not cover the use you need, contact us before using the font.

Membership downloads

Fonts downloaded with a membership pass come with the same licence file as a single purchase.
